Who is TAI

Talbot and Associates, Inc.(“TAI”) was incorporated in 1997 and uses the name TAI Club Management to better address our core business.  TAI was established to provide solutions to the Private Club and Public Golf course market sectors.  Our foundation is the TAI Club Management System software suite, the most continuously installed club software solution in the United States.

Milestones of importance begin in the late 1970’s when the then MAI Basic Four Corporation developed the first fully integrated Club Management System.  In 1994, TAI's ownership secured the Copyright from MAI Basic Four.  Shortly thereafter, the TAI Club Management System was the first compliant and compatible club software suite in the industry running under Microsoft Windows.

The TAI Club Management System is the longest continuously developed solution in the club industry.  MAI Basic Four employed Mr. Michael R. Talbot, President of TAI, in 1980 and since that time his team has been continuously involved in the design and development of the TAI Club Management System. 

From our headquarters in Michigan, TAI has distribution covering all of North America.  TAI Club Management distributes our products via Direct Sales.  TAI believes that our clients are more than just a sale, TAI is unique in our belief that clients are best served by a business partner acting for the Client’s best interest. 

As a privately owned company and based in the United States, TAI is not beholding to investors, management companies, absent ownership or the whims of venture capitalists.  Our sole focus is on our Clients and our Clients' needs and best interests. 

TAI Club Management maintains sustained manageable growth in order to deliver the high level of products and support the industry has come to expect.  Understanding that one size does not fit all, TAI Club Management will continue to build and develop the most comprehensive and flexible software in the industry designed solely and specifically for the club industry.  By offering specialized products that are technologically superior, client oriented, and professionally supported, TAI exceeds the expectations of our Clients.
